Rubber lug outsoles for maximum traction, slip resistance, and dirt repellant. In probably the most extreme cold working conditions the Yukon Pac-Boots kick cold in it is frosty little teeth.

Insulation (1000 LiteFire). These shoes are designed to keep your feet warm in most forms of cold conditions. 1000 LiteFire is an aluminum based waterproof and breathable membrane that reflects body heat an identical to 1000 grams of traditional insulation without the weight or bulk.
